Originally from the Scottish Borders and now based in London, Minna was raised in a household of musicians and songwriters, developing a deep connection to folk music and storytelling from an early age.
Her forthcoming EP Colorado is the second instalment in a series of adventure-folk EPs that started with Camino in 2025. Written across the 5 weeks she spent walking across Spain on the Camino de Santiago trail, Camino delved into the practice of trusting your instincts, and letting go of the things that hold you back.
On Colorado – written while she was living and working at a wolf sanctuary – she explores the wild, capturing moments of wonder, freedom and belonging. “Wolves are highly intuitive, and so living among them proved as a bit of a mirror. There is a mixture of self-reflection and just simple storytelling in here. Conversations and moments and scraps of the essence of a very special time.”

Colorado’s lead single ‘I Don’t Mind If You Don’t Mind’ is a celebration song: one of living a life that’s tailored by our unique spirit, rather than reinforce the status quo that verges on mundanity through a fear of expressing yourself. “It’s fun looking back and thinking, thank god I’ve done things the way I wanted to (at times) and to see where they have led me,” she shares.
Minna’s soulful folk blends vivid imagery, adventurous spirit and heartfelt lyricism, drawing listeners into landscapes both physical and emotional.
