Super Duper is an independent music publicity, strategic communications and artist management firm operating on unceded Wurundjeri Land, Melbourne and Turrbal & Jagera Land, Brisbane in so-called-Australia. We were founded on Gadigal Land, Sydney in 2013. Storytelling, and giving people tools to tell their stories, is at the core of everything we do. It’s important for us to acknowledge that storytelling has been an integral part of Indigenous culture for sixty-five thousand years on the lands we are visitors on. The gravity of that history and connection is not lost on us, and we are incredibly fortunate to do this as our job.
For the last 10 years we have worked with local and international artists, record labels, festivals, promoters, brands, industry executives and charitable organisations to take their stories to the world through targeted publicity and media relations campaigns. Our specialty is crafting narratives that are authentic to artists and allow them to connect to their communities and culture more broadly, with music often being the vessel. We pride ourselves on building successful PR strategies in their own right, and complimentary activities that support artist’s broader goals towards building long-term, sustainable careers.
The artists we work with have been nominated for or won ARIA Awards, J Awards, the Australian Music Prize, Music Victoria Awards, National Live Music Awards, Rolling Stone Awards, have had countless entires in triple j’s Hottest 100, ranked in annual Best Albums of the Year lists and a whole lot more.
They have also changed lives, and the industry – like Alex the Astronaut soundtracking the Yes vote in the same-sex marriage referendum, Camp Cope pushing for gender equality and safe spaces in music, and Jaguar Jonze holding an entire industry to account. Being part of the team that supports artists during these critical and life-changing moments is something we are incredibly proud of.

Music publicity is the heart of Super Duper. We work with artists, record labels, music festivals, promoters and managers to build strategic and effective publicity strategies for single releases, album releases, tours, and special moments in our artist’s careers.
Our artist management arm was a natural progression from publicity – we’ve always worked with the view of our artist’s broader career goals in mind, and with this we are able to help execute on those goals. We manage artists ongoing, and in a project management capacity.
Our consulting offering serves organisations, music companies and industry executives. It’s flexible by nature and taps into our extensive experience in music and corporate communications, having led and contributed to projects for the United Nations, Sydney Opera House, National Geographic, and even a company who build satellites to track space junk. As part of this, we:
